How to use Gymful OS

Before starting work

Search for the subject, client, product, or decision. Read the relevant strategic page before a tactical standard. For client work, combine the client playbook with the applicable process and discipline standards.

While doing the work

• Use principles to guide judgment.
• Use processes to run repeatable work.
• Use frameworks to diagnose and structure choices.
• Use product documentation to configure or operate a tool.
• Use decision logs when a previous choice affects the present task.

When the documentation is wrong

Do not silently work around it. Correct the content in the same change as the work when practical. If the change alters strategy, ownership, scope, or a company-wide standard, create or update a decision log and request review.

Editing workflow

1. Edit the relevant MDX file in content/docs.
2. Keep one page focused on one durable subject.
3. Link evidence and related pages instead of duplicating them.
4. Preview the page locally.
5. Open a pull request and explain what changed and why.
6. Merge after the responsible owner reviews the change.
